Olly Stone has been named alongside Ben Duckett in England Men’s Test squad for the three match series against Sri Lanka, which begins at Old Trafford on 21 August.

The Notts paceman, who has amassed ten wickets across his three Test appearances to date, has 166 career First-Class scalps.

He has taken 33 wickets across all formats since moving to Trent Bridge in the winter of 2022, having also averaged 38.28 with the bat against the red ball this year, hitting three fifties.

Ben Duckett, meanwhile, has 23 Test caps to his name, and averages 41.05 in the format.

His three Tests this summer have yielded 178 runs at 44.50.

Dillion Pennington, who featured in the Test squad during the recent series victory over the West Indies, will also miss the series after sustaining a hamstring injury while playing in The Hundred competition.
