Joshua Beer, Josh Parsons and Toby Lambert have become the latest Nottinghamshire representatives at the prestigious Bunbury Festival, with their Midlands team winning three of their five matches played across the last week.
The Festival features the best U15 cricketers divided into four squads based on their county of origin: London & East, South & West, Midlands and North. The squads compete in 50-over and Twenty20 competitions across a round-robin of games.
Notable highlights for Nottinghamshire included Beer striking a top score of 83 in a comprehensive win over North, including seven fours and three sixes in a 66-ball innings.
Meanwhile Lambert, on his second appearance at the Festival, hit 41 in a total of 202 against London and East, which the southern outfit won by one wicket.
All three follow the likes of Farhan Ahmed, last week selected for England U19s, and recent List A half-centurion Ben Martindale, in playing at Bunbury whilst on the Green and Golds’ production line.
