Sam Seecharan has resumed on day three of Nottinghamshire’s U18 friendly with Derbyshire on 106, after Akand Gangotra starred with the ball on day one at Duffield CC.
Seecharan, batting at number three, hit 17 fours as Notts reached 214/6 at stumps on day two, replying to the hosts’ 405.
Opening the bowling, Seecharan claimed one wicket in Derbyshire’s first innings, with Gangotra leading the way in claiming 4/63.
The visitors have resumed 191 runs in arrears on the morning of the final day, with Drew Ottewell also unbeaten.
