After substantial rain and a forecast which saw no signs of improvement, Saturday'sMetro Bank 50 Over match against Yorkshire at Trent Bridge has been abandoned.

12.45pm: The match has been abandoned.

12.30pm: The umpires are currently on the outfield. 

11.40am: It's still a soggy scene at Trent Bridge. 

Indoor refreshments and entertainment are available in the Sobers Hall (Radcliffe Road Stand), Derek Randall Suite and the Rice Bar.

 

10.25am: An early lunch will be taken at 12pm, with an inspection due to take place after the 30-minute interval.

Free family activities are in place underneath the PKF Smith Cooper Stand.

 

10.04am: The gates are open - but so, sadly, are the heavens. We've no further updates at present on inspections, start times or the prospects of play.

8.56am: Sadly, the forecasters are correct so far.

A steady rain is falling at Trent Bridge, with the covers firmly on.

 

Refund policy

If play does not take place or play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of the match ticket value subject to there being:

  • Zero to 15 overs played and no result is obtained - a full refund
  • 15.1 overs to 30 overs played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.

In no other circumstances can money be refunded. 

In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, the refund process will be commenced automatically by Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only. Any refunds will be processed either by refunding to the debit or credit card used to make the purchase or by BACS payment.
