Peter Moores said there were moments of frustration at points in Notts Outlaws' Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign, as defeat to Lancashire at the John Fretwell Centre brought Nottinghamshire's search for white-ball glory to an end for 2023.
The Head Coach also reflected on several commendable individual and team performances dotted throughout the competition, including an important win at Leicestershire, strong contributions from Liam Patterson-White and individual brilliance from Matthew Montgomery.
Moores emphasised the importance of exposure to first-team cricket for the younger members of the One Day Cup group, noting that it would otherwise not be as possible to help young players hone their skills.
