Freddie McCann’s blistering unbeaten 150 saw Nottinghamshire’s U18s speed to a nine-wicket win over Leicestershire at Lady Bay.
The opener, who hit 139 in Notts’ first innings, hammered 20 fours and five sixes on the way to the milestone, ruthlessly punishing any errors in length from the visiting attack.
He was supported by Travis Holland, who amassed 74 from 94 deliveries as the top two compiled a first-wicket partnership of 174, before Sam Seecharan helped finish the job.
Earlier, Farhan Ahmed had claimed two further scalps as the Foxes were dismissed for 225, setting a target of 240 which the hosts overhauled inside 41 overs.
