Nottinghamshire's fixtures for the 2023 summer will be announced next Wednesday.

Having won the second division title just under two months ago, the Green and Golds will return to the top tier of the LV= Insurance County Championship for the first time since 2019.

Commencing on Saturday 20 May, the Vitality Blast will see the two-time tournament winners - the Notts Outlaws - in action on seven occasions at Trent Bridge as they aim for quarter-final qualification.

Meanwhile, four home contests in the 50-over One-Day Cup will provide the Outlaws with a tilt at securing qualification for a major final on home soil, with Trent Bridge set to play host to the showpiece occasion for the thrid time having taken over from Lord's in 2021.

“The announcement of fixtures for the next summer is always one of the highlights of the winter months,” said Nottinghamshire Head Coach Peter Moores.

“Knowing who we are playing, when and where is exciting because, even though it's a long way out, it makes it easier to visualise what we are all working towards.

“There are always a few fixtures that you keep an eye out for, and I'm sure our members and supporters are the same in that regard as well, so I'm looking forward to next week when it all becomes clear."
