Members of the 1987 Nottinghamshire squad, including Andy Pick and Kevin Saxelby, will reflect on their double-winning achievements at the next meeting of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers Society.

The society will meet at Trent Bridge on Thursday 1 December from 7pm.

Captained by Clive Rice, the Green and Golds secured their second County Championship triumph of the decade in the summer of '87, with Pick contributing 36 wickets and Saxelby 38.

Their Natwest Trophy triumph, meanwhile, was spearheaded by an inspirational half-century by Sir Richard Hadlee on his final appearance for the county at Lord's, while Pick's five-wicket haul in the semi-final was crucial in seeing Notts through to the showpiece.

Membership of the Society is £15 for the full season, or £5 for an individual meeting.
