Kevin Shine admitted he “couldn’t be prouder” of the work put in by every Nottinghamshire player following a day of challenging grind at Trent Bridge.
The Green and Golds bowled for 104 overs, having lost overs to rain on day two and chosen to enforce the follow on late in the evening sesion.
Yet Assistant Coach Shine hailed the attack’s attitude for remaining committed to the task of taking wickets, one they achieved as the day wore on.
He singled out the heart of James Pattinson in particular, after the Australian took four wickets, and pledged to build pressure on day four in an effort to force a result.
