Yorkshire’s Finlay Bean scored a Second XI Championship record 365* against Nottinghamshire as the visitors took the lead on a docile pitch at Lady Bay.
Nottinghamshire amassed 534 in their first innings, but the White Rose responded strongly with a first wicket stand worth 286 on day two.
They scored another 388 for the loss of four wickets on the third day, with Harry Duke adding to centuries scored by Bean and James Wharton.
The latter was the first wicket to fall, courtesy of James Hayes who caught well on his follow through with the score on 287.
Andrew Umeed fell six overs later for 11, caught by Evison off the bowling of Harrison, with Will Luxton departing for 30 as Yorkshire ticked past 400, prior to Bean and Duke sharing a 240 partnership for the fifth wicket.
Duke was eventually caught by Matthew Montgomery off the bowling of Ximus Du Plooy for 108, with the away side adding nine runs before close.
