Nottinghamshire trio Stuart Broad, Ben Duckett and Olly Stone have been named in a 15-strong squad for the two-match Test tour of New Zealand in February.
Broad returns to the Test fold having missed England’s tour of Pakistan for the birth of his daughter.
The seamer has claimed 84 scalps against the Kiwis, only surpassing that tally on the international stage versus Australia and South Africa.
Stone, who joined Nottinghamshire this winter, has three Test caps, the most recent of which was against the Black Caps at Edgbaston in 2021.
The paceman prised the wickets of Ross Taylor and Daryl Mitchell in the visitors’ first innings, finishing the match with figures of 3/97.
Duckett, meanwhile, heads on his second overseas Test tour of the winter, following his star turn in Pakistan, where he struck 357 runs at an average of 71.40.
That series followed a standout year in Division Two of the LV= Insurance County Championship, with the left-hander accruing 1012 runs at an average of over 76.
Duckett and Stone, both of whom are involved in England’s ODI series in South Africa in the new year, will fly directly to join the squad in New Zealand following the conclusion of that tour.
