Ben Slater felt Notts Outlaws fresher faces had become better cricketers for their experience in the Royal London Cup, after bowing out at the quarter-final stage.
The opener, who hit a fine 104 which took his average in the format into the top five in the world, praised the progression of Sol Budinger and Matthew Montgomery with the bat as the Outlaws made a late charge to the knockout stages.
