Ant Botha explained how "key moments'" defined Nottinghamshire's loss to Glamorgan in the LV= Insurance County Championship, and called upon his side to move forward with the learnings from the game.
Having posted a first innings score of 302, the visitors' final two wickets in response added 131 to amass a lead of 77.
It proved to be a crucial partnership, the Welsh county later knocking off a target of 166 following an impressive bowling performance which earned the plaudits of Assistant Coach Botha.
He also praised the tenacity of Nottinghamshire's overseas players James Pattison and Dane Paterson who got their first outing of the season, the latter bowling a hostile 13 over spell on the final day to show his credentials, as well as Ben Duckett, who followed a first innings 122 with 95.
The left hander's form is a product of his persistant desire to learn and improve, according to Botha, an attitude which bodes well as Notts seek to respond against Durham next week.
