Haseeb Hameed and Ben Slater piled on the runs as the visitors ensured the spoils were shared in their second LV= Insurance County Championship fixture of the season against Worcestershire.
Responding to host's sizeable first innings 436, Hameed led from the front with his maiden first-class hundred for Nottinghamshire in reply. However, having been asked to follow on, Notts still required a Herculean response for the draw.
The obstinate response came from Hameed and Slater who both scored tons, batting through the final day to secure a draw for the Green and Golds.
The stubborn Hameed set a new County Championship record batting for 824 minutes over the course of the New Road fixture, spending all but four overs on the field of play.
