Luke Fletcher has been signed by Bangla Tigers for the imminent Abu Dhabi T10 competition.
Fletcher, who won the Cricket Writers’ Club and his county’s Player of the Season awards after a career-best showing in 2021, will link up with Nottinghamshire analyst Kunal Manek at the franchise, while Samit Patel, Tom Moores and Paul Franks have also signed up for stints in the Middle East.
The right-armer enjoyed his most prolific T20 summer for seven years in 2021, taking 13 wickets as the Outlaws progressed to the quarter-finals of the Vitality Blast.
His 92 wickets in the domestic game’s shortest format place him fifth on Notts’ all-time list of twenty-over wicket-takers.
The tournament will be played between 19 November and 4 December with all games taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
