Trent Rockets have announced the signing of Lightning all-rounders Alicia Presland and Teresa Graves ahead of The Hundred this summer.
The moves signal the end of the second phase of the player selection process in The Hundred Women’s Competition. Phase three, throughout June, will see the eight teams finalise their 15-strong squads.
Teresa Graves said: “It’s really exciting to be part of the Trent Rockets team. I’m looking forward to working with Salliann Beams and I think we’ve got a really strong squad forming. The standard is going to be great and I want to be able to contribute, play my part and help the team towards success.”
Graves played a crucial role as Notts won the T20 East Midlands title this season, finishing as second top-scorer for the Green and Golds with an average of 27.16.
Priestland, meanwhile, scored 100 runs in four innings and claimed six wickets at an average of seven for Lincolnshire, who finished runners up in the competition.
Trent Rockets’ season gets underway on July 24, when both the women’s and men’s squads welcome Southern Brave to Trent Bridge.
