England and India are set to resume a to and fro battle on Day Three of the LV= Insurance Test Match at Trent Bridge, with India 58 runs in arrears and six wickets in hand.
With the possibility of some inclement weather through the day, updated will be posted here.
8:45 - We are still a couple of hours away from scheduled start of play on the hallowed turf, which has got a steady watering this morning. The rain is only light now, though, and hopes remain of a timely start.
9:30 - Although the skies remain grey, the drizzle has relented. The weather forecast for the day has improved a little.
10:45 - Any fears of a delayed start have been extinguished with blue skies emerging overhead as the scheduled start time approaches.
11:10 - A stoppage in play as the rain lashes down momentatily, but blue skies have reappeared and the covers are beginning to be shifted.
11:20 - Play will recommence at 11.40am, providing there is no further rain.
11.30 - With the rain having returned, play will no longer be able to restart at 11.40 as previously planned.
11:45 - Providing there is no further rain, play will restart at 12.05pm, with the Lunch interval delayed until 1.30pm.
17:30 - Following a concerted period of uninterrupted play, a heavy shower has caused a temporary halt to proceedings, with a proposed restart time of 6.10pm.
18:00 - With heavy rain now blustering across our venue, the chances of further play are beginning to look a little slender.
