Not content with the back-to-back centuries that thrust him into the spotlight at Worcester, Haseeb Hameed has been piling on the runs yet again, this time against Derbyshire.
The Nottinghamshire Vice-Captain spent near on the entire four days on the field in last week’s drawn fixture against the Pears.
And having temporarily slipped back down to earth with a second ball dismissal on day one of the East Midlands derby, Hameed was not about to let the home side off the hook again.
