Vitality Blast Finals Day is scheduled to begin at 3.15pm today following almost two days of delays due to weather.
The Outlaws will contest the second of the last four fixtures against Lancashire Lightning, but Dan Christian’s men must first await the conclusion of Surrey versus Gloucestershire.
It is intended that each of the semi-finals will be contested over 11 overs-per-side, with a 16-overs-a-side final taking place under floodlights this evening.
Should there be further rain, games can be shortened to as little as five-overs-per-side, with bowl-outs also an option for separating the sides if necessary.
Sky Sports are remaining in position for the reserve day broadcast. Definitive written, pictorial, audio and live scorecard coverage will be provided via Trent Bridge Live…
With the ECB, the four teams, the host venue and the broadcast partners committed to their attempts to ensure that the competition is completed on the field, an additional reserve day of Wednesday 7 October has been inaugurated, to be used in the event of none of the three games being completed today.
