Stuart Broad has been named in a 13-man England squad for the first #RaiseTheBat Test against West Indies.
The Nottinghamshire seamer has been part of a larger England group training in biosecure conditions at the Ageas Bowl, where the first Test will begin on Wednesday 8 July.
Nine other players will remain at the venue as Test reserves, as Ben Stokes prepares to captain the side for the first time in the absence of Joe Root.
Root, who has returned to Sheffield to be at the birth of his second child, left the secure bubble in Southampton earlier this week. He will self-isolate for seven days before joining up with the squad ahead of the second Test at Emirates Old Trafford starting on 16 July.
England will contest a three-match encounter against their caribbean opponents, with the final two games in the series taking place at Emirates Old Trafford later in the month.
