Nottinghamshire’s bowlers shared the spoils on the second day of their friendly with Durham, as the Second XI match ended in a draw.
Resuming on 139-2, Graham Clark was joined in the middle by Michael Jones, the pair looking to take Durham’s total towards Nottinghamshire’s 223-5 declared.
Jones had made a fluent 28 from just 36 deliveries before Andrew Neal had the right-hander caught by Seb Menzhausen, Durham losing their fourth third wicket with 183 on the board.
Chris Sanders, who had impressed late on the first day, then removed Clark ten runs short of his century as the right-hander edged through to Jayden Schadendorf on 90.
Solomon Bell had progressed his score to 48 before Tom Barber picked up his first wicket of the contest, with Lyndon James backing up his exploits with the bat on day one by dismissing the returning Stuart Poynter for 77.
Sanders (4-54) then added a fourth victim, Liam Patterson-White picked up a brace of wickets and Ishraj Jandu ran out Luke Doneathy as the hosts finished their 90 overs of batting on 357-10.
James and Ben Compton began the Nottinghamshire reply in solid fashion, putting on 35 runs in 14 overs before the former retired on 20.
With James back in the pavilion, Durham seamer Jonathan Bushnell (3-2) sparked a mini collapse in the Green and Golds’ ranks, with Compton (22), Patterson-White (19) and Budinger (1) falling in quick succession.
Nottinghamshire would conclude their 30 overs of batting on 80-4.
