Details have been confirmed for the Trent Bridge Community Trust’s annual Christmas Market, organised by the YouNG Project.
The market, which will showcase the work of young entrepreneurs and performaers from around Rushcliffe, will be held in on Gordon Road in West Bridgford on Saturday 23 November.
The event will run in conjunction with Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Christmas light switch on, to be held nearby on Central Avenue.
Activities available on the day will include a Frozen-themed snowflake trail along Gordon Road and an opportunity to collect some goodies from Santa in his grotto outside the Test Match pub.
Meanwhile, a number of market stalls run by young people will be selling homemade Christmas decorations and crafts, and will give children the chance to make their own snowflakes for display.
The festivities will be accompanied by live entertainment on-stage courtesy of solo performers and groups of young people, before concluding with a nativity performed by Stage Coach.
The market is West Bridgford is just one of the events which YouNG will be supporting in the lead-up to Christmas.
Young entrepreneurs will also be showcasing their wares in Cotgrave Precinct (29th November), Bingham Town Centre (29th November) and Keyworth Town Centre (30th November).
