Returning from a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury to captain his side and open the batting, Steven Mullaney ensured he made up for lost time when Warwickshire visited Trent Bridge in September.
Eventually falling for a career-best 179, his runs came off just 173 balls and included 26 fours and five sixes, in a display of fine strokeplay which had the visitors chasing leather for the majority of the first day.
