Outlaws seamer Harry Gurney has been selected by the newly-formed Team Abu Dhabi for the upcoming edition of the Abu Dhabi T10.
The 32-year-old, who was part of last season’s T10-winning Northern Warriors squad, will be coached by former England supremo Trevor Bayliss, who is taking up his first post since leaving the national side after this summer’s Ashes series.
Gurney will be joined in Abu Dhabi by fellow left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir and England international Moeen Ali, after the duo were selected as first pick and icon player respectively.
The tournament takes place at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium between 14 and 24 November, with Gurney looking to add to his growing haul of global white-ball titles, having recently featured alongside fellow Outlaw Alex Hales in winning the Caribbean Premier League with Barbados Tridents.
Gurney was also amongst the most dangerous bowlers in this year’s Vitality Blast, taking 22 scalps at 18.00.
