Nottinghamshire Club Captain Steven Mullaney is preparing to step up his rehabilitation as he continues his comeback from injury.

Speaking at a Forget Me Notts cricket activity session for people living with dementia, the all-rounder described his discomfort at having to watch the start of the Vitality Blast campaign from the sidelines, and acclaimed the experience of playing under lights at a packed Trent Bridge as 'unbelievable'.

The skipper also hailed the 'magnificent' work done by the Trent Bridge Community Trust, who organise the Forget Me Notts sessions in order to use sport as a vehicle for improving people's lives.
