Joe Clarke, Samit Patel and Ben Duckett have been named Nottinghamshire’s Player of the Month (sponsored by John Pye Auctions) for April, May and June respectively.
Clarke is recognised for his stunning introduction to Specsavers County Championship life at Notts, scoring 112 and 97* as the hosts drew with Yorkshire.
The right-hander followed this with a brutal 139 off 108 balls as the Outlaws recorded the fourth-highest List A total in their history against Lancashire in the Royal London One-Day Cup.
It was Patel who then saw the Outlaws over the line in the One-Day Cup group stages in May, his unbeaten 136 anchoring a thrilling run-chase as Notts triumphed over Northamptonshire by one wicket to reach the semi-finals.
Duckett, meanwhile, receives June’s award after scoring his first Championship century for the county in a game-saving effort against Warwickshire.
The opener’s 140 was the defining contribution as the visitors secured a draw on the final day at Edgbaston.
The trio were presented with their awards at the lunch interval on day three of the County Championship game between Notts and Surrey, with John Pye’s Steve Richardson on hand to do the honours.
