Nottinghamshire have designated the first day of their match against Kent as an armed forces’ day, with complimentary tickets on offer for active and former service personnel.
On Tuesday 10 September, current and ex-members of the armed forces will be entitled to free tickets for themselves and a guest to watch the Specsavers County Championship fixture.
Armed forces tickets for Tuesday 10 September - which are being made available in partnership with the Club’s official charity, the Trent Bridge Community Trust - can be secured here or by calling 0115 899 0300.
“Each and every one of us owes a huge debt of gratitude to our armed forces, and we will continue to take steps to demonstrate it,” said Mark Clifford, the Trent Bridge Community Trust’s Community Projects Manager.
“The Trust signed the Armed Forces Covenant earlier this year to formalise our support of service personnel, and to demonstrate our desire to take practical steps to recognise their value.
“Tickets for Troops distributed a quantity of tickets on our behalf for the Vitality Blast fixture against Northamptonshire. This time, we’re inviting service personnel to apply for complimentary tickets directly from the Club.
“The matchday entertainment will be tailored to the enjoyment of those with military backgrounds who opt to join us. We can’t wait to welcome them to Trent Bridge.”
