A truncated final day in Harrogate allowed Nottinghamshire Seconds to secure a draw against Yorkshire in their second game of the Second XI Championship season.
Resuming on 137-9, the visitors were dismissed with the first ball of the day, Michael Cohen (1) being bowled by Jared Warner.
Finlay Bean and former Notts man Will Fraine opened for Yorkshire as the hosts looked to eke out a more considerable advantage, but Bean would depart without scoring, trapped lbw by Jack Blatherwick.
Fraine and Thomas Loten played carefully for the rest of the morning, bringing up a 50 partnership from 101 balls and stretching the lead to 221 runs at lunch.
But the rain and bad light would bring a premature end to proceedings soon after the break.
The hosts had reached 87-1 when no further play was deemed possible, with Fraine on 26 and Loten 43.
