Joe Clarke reflected on a 'special' start to his Trent Bridge career, after opening his Nottinghamshire account with a century.
Clarke finished the day unbeaten on 109, propelling the home side to 324-5 at the close of play.
The right-hander also hailed the platform Ben Slater and Ben Duckett helped him to construct, after his fellow new arrivals scored 76 and 43 respectively, and targeted full batting points for Notts on day 2.
