Nottinghamshire Captain Steven Mullaney is pleased with where his side sit after the second day of their Specsavers County Championship clash with Essex at Trent Bridge.
After bowling the visitors out for 233, in which Mullaney helped himself to figures of 4-68, Ben Slater and Kraigg Brathwaite wiped off the 56-run first innings deficit without loss.
The pair had taken their partnership on to 108 before Slater was trapped LBW for 54, Nottinghamshire ending the day on 116-1, a lead of 60.
