Harry Gurney and Tom Moores have been named Nottinghamshire’s player of the month, sponsored by John Pye Auctions, for July and August respectively.
Throughout July, Gurney was one of the Outlaws most consistent performers despite mixed results, taking wickets in all but one of the T20 Blast games in the first month of the competition.
The left-armer took 11 wickets in total during July, with his best figures of 3-30 coming in the victory over Northants at Wantage Road.
Moores, on the other hand, starred with the bat notching 297 runs throughout August towards the end of the T20 campaign.
The 22-year-old also secured his career best T20 knock, with an unbeaten 80* against Yorkshire Vikings at Trent Bridge, before guiding the Outlaws to the double over the Vikings, alongside Alex Hales, with 43* not out.
They were presented with their awards by Emily Tomlinson, a representative from John Pye, during lunch on day two of the Specsavers County Championship clash between Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire at Trent Bridge.
