Nottinghamshire club captain Steven Mullaney gave his thoughts on the side's defeat to Somerset during their final County Championship fixture of the season.
The visitors ran out winners by an innings and 146 runs after Craig Overton's hat-trick, the second of the game following Tom Abell's in the first innings, helped Somerset bowl the Green and Golds out for 184 in the second innings.
However, it was confirmed yesterday that Notts will play Division One cricket next season following the result between Lancashire and Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl.
