Jake Ball has been named as April’s Nottinghamshire Player of the Month, sponsored by John Pye Auctions.
The right-arm seamer was chosen for the award by team management after claiming 21 wickets during the month in the county’s first three Specsavers County Championship games of the season.
That total – accrued in three consecutive away matches at Lancashire, Yorkshire and Worcestershire – was more than any other bowler in the country.
Mansfield-born Ball was presented with his award by John Pye’s Marketing Manager, Faye Rollinson.
