Nottinghamshire Women suffered a difficult first day back in Division One of the 20-over competition as they were beaten in both games at Welbeck.
First they took on Kent and put their visitors in to bat, who reached a total of 110-8 from their 20-over allotment.
Phoebe Frankin (23), Alice Davidson-Richards (14), Lauren Griffiths (25) top scored as Kirstie Gordon (2-15) and Lucy Higham (2-21) were the pick of the Notts bowlers.
In reply, the hosts never got going after losing opener Georgie Boyce for a duck without addition to the score.
Only Jodie Dibble (16), Megan Burton (10), Hannah Hughes (13) were able to get into double figures as Notts were dismissed for 60 to lose by 50 runs, with six different bowlers taking a wicket.
In the second game against Lancashire, the visitors won the toss and put Notts in, who struggled to 84-6 in the face of some tight bowling.
Opener Boyce scored a fluent 35, but only Gordon, with 19 not out, was able to join her in double figures as Kathryn Cross and Hannah Jones each took two wickets.
Lancashire had few problems in chasing down their target in 16.2 overs, as skipper Evelyn Jones led the way with an unbeaten 49.
Emma Lamb (15) and Shachi Pai (15) batted well in support as Jodie Dibble and a run out accounted for the two wickets to fall.
