Nottinghamshire CCC, its players and staff has received a string of nominations in this year’s Nottingham Post Sports Awards, to be held on Thursday night.
Head Coach Peter Moores has been shortlisted for Manager/Coach of the Year while Steven Mullaney, Alex Hales and Samit Patel are all in contention in the County Cricket Player of the Year category.
Hales, meanwhile, is also a finalist for the Sportsman of the Year award, while the whole team is nominated for the Team of the Year prize.
Hosting the evening at the East Midlands Conference Centre, which will feature some of the leading performers in local sport, will be Sky Sports presenter David Garrido and ITV weather presenter Emma Jesson.
