James Pattinson has been named Nottinghamshire’s Player of the Month, sponsored by John Pye Auctions, for April.
Pattinson took 20 first-class wickets in three matches over the course of the month, including a five-wicket haul against Leicestershire, as well as picking up two half-centuries.
The impressive form saw Pattinson called up by Australia for the ICC champions Trophy cutting his stint at Trent Bridge short, but his performances helped Notts to the top of the Specsavers County Champsionship Second Division.
