It’s been quite the Bank Holiday weekend for Nottinghamshire’s Women, with Sonia Odedra’s side helping themselves to back-to-back victories.
Middlesex were first to succumb, by 45-runs at Mill Hill School, before a trip to Maidenhead to face Berkshire yielded the equally impressive bounty of a five-wicket victory.
Odedra was herself a star performer at the top of the order with respective scores of 86 and 44 as Notts took their record so far in 2017 to three wins from five County Championship outings.
Sophie Munroe, a 15-year-old debutant right-arm seamer, meanwhile captured extraordinary figures of 9-52 across the two matches, including a five-wicket haul on debut against Middlesex.
