Nottinghamshire’s early season Specsavers County Championship and Royal London One-Day Cup squads have been boosted by the availability of Stuart Broad, Jake Ball and Alex Hales.
Ball is rested for the Specsavers County Championship season opener against Leicestershire from April 7, and will make his season bow a week later against Durham.
Broad meanwhile will be available for the local derby at the Fischer County Ground and will be rested for the following trip to Durham.
With Australian international James Patinson joining in time for the opening game of the season, and both Broad and Ball available, plenty of international firepower will be on show at the first home match of the summer against Sussex from 21 April.
Also, having marked his return to cricket after a hand injury with a century in the West Indies, Alex Hales will be available for all cricket for Nottinghamshire in the early season.
