More than 3,500 Nottinghamshire supporters have so far bought tickets to watch the Royal London One-Day Cup final at Lord’s on Saturday.
The Club quickly sold out their official supporters’ coaches, which will take around 600 people down to the capital.
They will depart from the East Car Park of Nottingham Forest FC, behind the Brian Clough Stand, off Scarrington Road at 6.30am.
Head Coach Peter Moores is delighted by the show of support and hopes the numbers will continue to rise prior to matchday.
“The support for us at Trent Bridge, and wherever we play for that matter, has been terrific all season, so it’s no surprise that we’re getting this backing for Lord’s.
“I know just what a brilliant day out for all concerned this promises to be for a whole host of people - it really is a great occasion in the cricket calendar.
“At the start of the season I couldn’t promise we would win all our games, but what I did want was for every team we put out to give there all when we went onto the pitch, which so far we have done.
“I know the lads will give it a really good go and I know if we play the cricket we are capable of, we are well capable of bringing the trophy home.”
