Two Nottinghamshire CCC junior players will represent the Midlands in the 31st Under-15 Bunbury festival at Stowe School, which starts today (Monday) and finishes on Friday.

Joey Evison, 15, is a right-handed opening batsman, who has already scored a Nottinghamshire Premier League hundred this year for the Club’s Academy side.

Raheem Ahmed, 14 (pictured), is a left-arm opening bowling and left-handed batsman, who is a member of the Nottinghamshire Emerging Player Programme. As an Under-14, he has been selected a year young.

The prestigious five-day festival has featured a number of international players as past participants, including England captain Joe Root and former Notts batsman James Tayor.

The Midlands team will play the North, London and East and the South West in three 50-over and three T20 games.
