Will Gidman will leave Nottinghamshire after two seasons with the Club.
The 31-year-old featured in eight matches for his third county having previously played for Durham and Gloucestershire.
He spent the latter weeks of the 2016 season on loan with Kent, playing in 11 matches across the three formats and helping them to a second place finish in the Second Division of the Specsavers County Championship.
“Will has been a good ambassador for Nottinghamshire both on and off the field,” said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
“We wish him all the best for the future and hope that he has a continued career in the game.”
