Notts Outlaws captain Dan Christian will add his explosive all round abilities and experience to the Seconds on Friday as part of the T20 squad to face Yorkshire in two matches.
Christian will continue the trend of playing second eleven cricket in the breaks between Nottinghamshire’s one-day matches.
The Australian overseas will be joined in the squad by some other experienced second team players, including Will Root, Sam Wood, Ben Kitt and Matt Carter.
Other familiar names include Tom Moores, who will take the gloves as Tom Keast is sitting exams, Dominic Brown, Tim Wyatt and Connor Marshall.
Elsewhere, Plumtree’s Saad Ashraf is rewarded for his early season form, which included a century from the top of the order against Clifton Village, with a place in the squad.
