Tickets for England’s Royal London One-Day Internationals against Sri Lanka and Pakistan at Trent Bridge have sold out.
A waiting list has been established here for those who wish to secure any returned tickets for the matches, which are scheduled for Tuesday 21 June and Tuesday 30 August respectively.
England’s previous 50-over encounter at Trent Bridge saw the host nation chase down a record total to secure a memorable victory over New Zealand, with Eoin Morgan and Joe Root scoring centuries.
The national team’s cavalier approach to the white ball game has filtered into county cricket, led by the Notts Outlaws who posted in excess of 400 in back-to-back Royal London One-Day Cup fixtures last week.
“To have secured two sellouts demonstrates the immense appetite for international cricket at Trent Bridge,” said Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club’s Commercial Director Justin Tose.
“Loyalty from our supporter base is long established and we will continue to ensure that our Members benefit from priority access to tickets, and exclusive availability for the Pavilion and some of the best seats in the house each time international cricket comes to Trent Bridge.
“With the visit of the West Indies in 2017, Australia in 2018 then the World Cup the following year - together with Notts Outlaws competing each year in the Royal London One-Day Cup - there are many more memorable occasions in this format on their way to Trent Bridge during the coming years.”
