Rain forced an abandonment at the Notts Sports Ground, as Nottinghamshire’s Academy took twelve points from their match against the West Indian Cavaliers.
With the start delayed by some 90 minutes due to a lunchtime downpour, the match was reduced to 35 overs.
Jack Blatherwick picked up two early wickets before a further shower sent the players to the pavilion.
On resuming, it became a timed game and thanks to a couple of wickets for Connor Marshall and Liam Patterson-White, as well as two run outs, the visitors were reduced to 138-9 from their 35 overs.
In reply, openers Alex Aldred and Tim Wyatt made six, and after Anul Dal and Liam Patterson-White, batting at four both made 15, Tom Keast and captain Paul Franks came together.
The pair added 63, Keast struck an unbeaten on 41, captain Franks hitting two sixes in a 24-ball 33. Their partnership ended early, on 125-4, after a return of the rain forced the fixture’s abandonment.
