Alex Hales will once again have the opportunity to represent England at his home ground, after earning selection for the Royal London One-Day International series against Pakistan.
Trent Bridge plays host to the third match of the series on Tuesday 30 August, with the host nation returning to the scene of their thrilling tie against Sri Lanka back in June.
Captain Eoin Morgan, who scored 113 off 82 balls against New Zealand in Nottingham last summer, leads the 15-man squad after recovering from a chipped bone in his little finger.
Ben Stokes, Mark Wood and Jos Buttler have also been named after recovering from injuries with Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson the only uncapped player in the squad.
Pakistan’s squad, meanwhile, includes the return to the international scene of experienced fast bowler Umar Gul for the first time since April 2015, bolstering a pace arsenal that already includes Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah, who bagged two five wicket hauls in the drawn Investec Test Series against the English, is also set for an ODI return having not featured in the format since November.
