England women fell foul of a super over loss against the West Indies in the final round robin match of their triangular series in Bridgetown.
England finished their super over with 6-1, while Deandra Dottin scored two fours in response to seal the victory.
On their way to restricting the West Indies to 118-7 from their 20 overs, Nottinghamshire's Jenny Gunn took 2-12 from her two overs. Captain Stafanie Taylor high-scored for the hosts with 40.
In reply, all of England's top six reached double figures, Lydia Greenway's 36 the pick of the scores. When she wasrun out in the 17th over, England required 18 from 17 balls, but good bowling saw off Gunn, Natalie Scivers and fellow Notts player Danielle Wyatt was run out.
The result, however, was irrelevant, as both sides will meet in the final, the hosts topping the group with 12 points, and England's 8 to New Zealand's 4.
