Alex Hales and Sam Wood will open the batting for Nottinghamshire in a two-day friendly against Northamptonshire at Trent Bridge from Monday.
It has been pre-arranged that the match will be divided into six 30 over sessions over the two days with one side batting for one session and bowling for two before switching roles on day two.
New signing Ajmal Shahzad will bowl his first overs as a Nottinghamshire player at Trent Bridge with England internationals Michael Lumb, James Taylor, Chris Read and Paul Franks all set to feature.
Ongoing work to complete the installation of a second permanent replay screen means that match members and supporters will be accommodated in the Pavilion and Hound Road Stand.
Play begins at 11am.
