Nottinghamshire bowler Ben Phillips has been told that he will not be offered a new contract at Trent Bridge.
Phillips joined Notts from Somerset in 2011 and has featured in 16 first-class matches, taking 33 wickets along the way with a best of 4-33 against Durham at Chester-le-Street in April 2012.
“I'd like to thank Ben for the three years he's been at Trent Bridge,” said Mick Newell, Nottinghamshire’s Director of Cricket.
"He's been a great role-model for the younger members of the squad and we'd would like to wish him all the best in the future."
He has taken 446 wickets in all competitions since starting his career with Kent, making his debut in 1996 before moving to Northamptonshire in 2002.
"I've really enjoyed my time at Trent Bridge,” said Phillips.
“I'd like thank the team, staff and supporters for making me feel so welcome over the past three years, and hope that the team go on and enjoy success in the future."
