Nottinghamshire batsman Alex Hales was the subject of a bidding war in this morning's Bangladesh Premier League auction.
The destructive batsman, who shot to prominence with a fine 99 in a NatWest T20 International at Trent Bridge in the summer, attracted a $50,000 dollar bid from Rangpur before Rajshahi confirmed his purchase for $58,000.
Fellow Outlaw Riki Wessels will represent Khulna in the tournament as he became one of a handful of county pros to be picked up.
Hales and Wessels were the only Nottinghamshire player to be picked up in the auction with Andy Carter left on the shelf.
James Taylor picked up a provisional bid but had already decided to withdraw from the tournament whilst Michael Lumb had also decided not to participate.
