Andre Adams, the leading bowler in the LV= County Championship, has signed a one year extension to his existing contract which commits him to the club until the end of the 2014 season.
Adams has been a revelation since returning to Trent Bridge for a second spell in 2008. He took 66 LV= County Championship wickets as Notts won the title in 2010 and 67 in 2011 to earn consecutive Player of the Year awards.
"Andre has been our best bowler for some time now and his performances this season more than merit an additional year on his deal," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
"We will preserve him for four-day matches because that's where he's at his best and having a bowler of his quality fresh for games in our priortity competition is a key part of how we play."
